Our History
Child Evangelism Fellowship of Vermont, Inc. is a chartered ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship, Inc. based out of Warrenton Missouri. CEF of Vermont was started in 1940 by Mrs. J.F. Keating. She was appointed as the first State Director under the authority of CEF founder
Mr. J. Irvin Overholtzer.
Our Purpose
CEF exists to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living. This purpose is as important today as when CEF began in 1937.
Our Partners
CEF works with the churches of Vermont to recruit and train volunteers to share the Gospel with the children in their community. Our ultimate goal is to see these children and their families growing in their faith within the local church. CEF could not fulfill our purpose without the prayers, participation, and provision of local churches and individual Christians.
