Andrew Buzzell

To our supporters and partners,

Due to recent revelations of improper conduct of downloading and distribution of child pornographic files. Andrew Buzzell was immediately terminated as the state director of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Vermont.  This situation grieves the Board of Directors but this action had to be taken to ensure the integrity of our mission to reach children within our state with the gospel of Christ.

The FBI agent at the time of disclosure of the charges said that the activities were conducted during Andrews Buzzell’s personal time and on his own devices and there was no use of CEF devices.

Child Evangelism Fellowship, USA has issued the following statement:

“Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) is aware of the current situation in Vermont. CEF is committed to upholding the highest standards of morality and personal conduct that have guided the ministry since its founding in 1937. CEF maintains a strict Child Protection Policy designed to protect children, and guide workers’ conduct. Due to any future legal proceedings, no further information can be provided at this time.” 

The Board of Directors is committed to continue our mission in reaching children within our state and will continue to offer assistance to those that wish to support Good News Clubs or Party Clubs in the coming months. CEF of Vermont is committed to walking in the light as 1John 1:5-6 tells us.

1Jn 1:5-6  This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
